2016 Spring Registration Updated 5/10/2016

Registration:

Between May 10, 2016 – June 13, 2016 online only at: Register Here

Registration Fee:  Early Discount $99 'til June 4, 2016

Fee will increase to $110 beginning on June 5.  Register early to receive the reduced fee. For family of 3 or more, registration is reduced to $55 for the 3rd player.  Late fee of $10 applied after June 13 and players will be placed on a wait list pending team availability.  Payment by credit card only.  Players will not be placed on teams unless payment has been made in full.

Skills Assessments:

PYSL will be holding MANDATORY skills assessments on June 4, 2016 as follows:

- Girls currently in grades 2 - 5 (2016 Fall grades 3 - 6) will be 3 PM - 5 PM.  Plan to arrive at 2:45 to check in. 

- Boys currently in grades 2 - 5 (2016 Fall grades 3 - 6) will be 5 PM - 7 PM.  Plan to arrive at 4:45 to check in.

All assessments will be at Field of Dreams. Any player who is not assessed will normally be placed on the lower team if there are two teams for that age group.

Uniforms:

PYSL introduced new Under Armour uniforms last Fall.  All players are required to wear the full uniform.  Any player who already has a PYSL Under Armour uniform will continue to use it.  If you need to purchase a new uniform, please order online through our team store at:  https://plainvilleys.itemorder.com.  The cost is $53 for youth sizes and $58 for adult sizes, plus $7.95 (flat rate) shipping. Complete uniform includes shorts, jersey, and socks.  When ordering jerseys all returning players should keep their player numbers.

Commitment:

The PYSL Fall soccer season will begin in September and run for 10 weeks.  There will be 5 home games played at the Field of Dreams in Plainville as well as 5 away games.  Games are played on Saturdays.  Team practices are typically held twice each week.  The schedule will not be available until closer to the season start date.

Age Requirement:

Plainville boys and girls who will be in grades 3 - 6 in September 2016 are eligible to play.  Any questions about eligibility please contact Jeannette Holland at jlynnholland17@yahoo.com.

 

PYSL has limited financial assistance (towards fees) available.  If you are in need of financial assistance towards fees please contact Jeannette Holland at jlynnholland17@yahoo.com for an application.  The deadline for applying for financial assistance is 6/13/16.

Columbus Day Weekend Updated 10/10/2015
Congrats to the PYSL U9 Boys for an outstanding showing in the Mansfield Columbus Day Weekend Tournament going 3 - 0 in the A Bracket. A great day was had by all!



Welcome to PYSL Updated 10/26/2015

PYSL is a travel soccer program for children in the U9 through U12 age groups.  U12 players must be under age 12 as of July 31 of the upcoming season.  Those over 12 may be "grade" eligible.  U9 players must be 8 years of age by July 31 as well or entering the 3rd Grade in the Fall. 

We have two seasons: Fall and Spring.  To register for the upcoming season please use the "Registration" button on the Welcome menu.

PYSL is dedicated towards developing, educating and creating an appreciation for the game of soccer in our community.   Volunteers for this cause are always welcome.

 



Our Code of Conduct Updated 4/2/2012

PYSL adheres to a strict policy of Zero Tolerance with regard to players, coaches and referees.  All players, coaches, parents, both home and away, are expected to observe the rules of fair play, sportsmanship, courtesy and should act and behave accordingly.
